Moving Week

We fly out of New York on March 1st.

We are waiting on the movers to arrive to start the week-long process.  The walls are bare but the rest of the apartment is a mess.  They told us if we pack anything in advance, they will just have to repack it.  So, we've pretty much left everything like it is. 

Our checked luggage is mostly packed.  We found out yesterday that instead of the three 70lb free bag allowance that United Airlines gives to military and dependents, we will only be able to take one free 50lb bag.  One additional bag will be $50 and carryons can only weigh 18lbs.  Our laptops alone weigh 18lbs! We will be in Italy for a month before any of our other luggage arrives, so I'm stressing just a bit. 

However, I know we will be fine. Philippians 4:11-13 "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

We're nervous about what this new adventure will bring but excited to see what God will do!
